PHP for the win
I'm currently doing PHP in my spare time working on creating little things to keep my brain working and also actively seeking new ways of doing things. Because I do Ruby on Rails and ASP at my workplace, it's nice to use different ideas from those languages to implement them in PHP. I've just stuck with PHP because it is a very fast and easy language to learn, and there is bulk loads of documentation out there for it. At a recent conference I was told PHP has already passed it's used by date... but he was an American. He was in love with Ruby on Rails as he was a Twitter developer. I like Ruby on Rails, but I find it hard to push the development in PHP aside and start from square one again in a new language. Maybe one day...
